There are 5 acres of woodland at the back of Deneholme. Most on a steep slope but there are footpaths allowing you to meander through the old forest all the way to the bottom of the dene and our own little “beck”, leading you to the River East Allen. There is also an ancient circle of 200 year old beech trees, which is a magical and some call it even spiritual place for reflection or just to enjoy the forest and wildlife noises.
The gardens to the side and back of Deneholme allow ample space for team building exercises, champagne receptions or simply garden games. We have a large fire pit for a bonfire waiting for those marshmallows, two large decking areas, enjoying morning and evening sun, several outside seating areas, an archery field (or camping field if required), flower beds filled with old English roses & lavender as well as a graveled car park for around 20 – 30 cars (Overflow into the field next door can be arranged).
